Advagene Obtains Technology License from the National Health Research Institutes (NHRI) for "Development of SARS-CoV-2 Antigen Using Influenza Virus-Like Particle Platform" to Combine with Its Proprietary Mucosal Adjuvant Technology.

Advagene has obtained a technology license from the National Health Research Institutes (NHRI) for the "Development of SARS-CoV-2 Antigen Using Influenza Virus-Like Particle (VLP) Platform." By combining this antigen technology with Advagene's proprietary mucosal adjuvant technology, the Company aims to develop a second-generation intranasal COVID-19 vaccine as a successor to current traditional injectable vaccines. Upon vaccination, it is expected to simultaneously induce serum IgG and mucosal IgA antibodies, providing a needle-free administration route along with additional mucosal antibody protection.
